Question: Employer: I signed up on the FREE - BASIC PLAN so why do I have to pay to view job seekers CV's?
Answer: When you post your advert make sure you fill in as much information as possible including details on how you want job seekers to apply for your job/s. If you don't want job seekers applying direct through our system, please put the details on how you want to receive applications in the 'Application Rules' part of the job listing (at the bottom of the form). You can type your email address and/or your phone number in this section. When you fill this section in, job seekers cannot apply direct through the system as it hides the 'send application' button and they have to follow your instructions to apply.
Question: Employer: What are the benefits for me to pay to view job seeker CV's?
Answer: You can browse our job seekers database for free however it costs you to be able to view their full CV (contact details). It is only $11 to view 5 x job seekers details so if you come across any that you feel may be suitable for your job, this is a great way to find your staff fast.
Question: Employer: Can I still advertise as I am looking for full time, permanent staff?
Answer: Yes, most definately! We have all types of registered job seekers looking for all types of jobs. Some are on working holiday visas or student visas and others are permanent Australian residents. Job seekers on working holiday visas can work for the same employer for up to 6 months. When posting your job be specific with the time frame you need workers for and that will prevent ineligible applicants.
Question: Employer: My logo but it is not showing on your home page even though I have uploaded it
Answer: Your logo will only show on the home page if you are a paid/featured advertiser. It will still show up on your job listings and in the search results when your listing is displayed.
Question: Employer: How does your invoice system work? I don't have a Paypal account.
Answer: If you prefer to receive an invoice, you can make payment by bank deposit, cheque or money order. Your account will be upgraded within 24 hours so you can start advertising jobs however you will not be able to gain access to job seekers CV's until clear funds have been received. Your invoice will be emailed to you the same day as your account is upgraded and your payment must be received within 7 days or your account will be downgraded and any active jobs will be removed from the job board until payment is received.
Question: Employer: How do I get my jobs to show in the front page
Answer: You need to upgrade your account to a featured advertiser. Your logo and jobs will appear on our home page which is a prime position. The 'Featured Jobs' section will show 3 jobs at any one time and is shared with all featured advertisers. The jobs will rotate every time the page is refreshed. The 'Now Recruiting' section will show your logo and link into your advertised jobs.
Question: Job Seeker: I have just been offered a temporary job so won't be able to accept other jobs
Answer: You have the option to place your CV on hold so that employers cannot see your details and when you are looking for work you can update and reactivate it. You have full control over your details by logging into your account, click on 'build CV' then go to 'number 8 - settings'. In the settings section you can select 'no' to disable your CV so employers won't be able to view it. Simple change it back to 'yes' when you are looking for another job.
Question: Job Seeker: I am not getting contacted by employers
Answer: Have you completed your online CV? The more information you have included in it, the greater your chances on being found when employers are searching the database. Check your spelling and read through it thoroughly for mistakes. If English is not your first language, have someone help you to make sure it is well written as this is your first impression with employers. For a winning edge, include a photo and/or upload a video and you will stand out against other job seekers.
Question: Job Seeker: I can't save or send some applications from advertised jobs
Answer: Jobs where advertisers don't want to receive emails through our system will have full details on how to apply in the job description or the 'how to apply' section at the bottom of the listing. Please read these instructions carefully as applying in the wrong manner could reduce your chances on being selected. Jobs that have been fed onto the site through Indeed will take you direct to their website where you will get instructions on how to apply.
